We believe in creating spaces and events that truly reflect who you are, bringing them to life with a mix of high-end and budget selections, creative DIY projects or commissions to create what we can’t find in stores, and working with small businesses and local companies.
We believe that your home should reflect you: who you are and what you care about. For our family, that means spaces that are bold and jewel-toned where we display our geeky collectibles alongside antique details. We have also done projects for friends and family that embody their unique style and personality. No matter whose home we’re in, we try to balance high-end splurges with savings on other elements, and we are committed to working with local companies and tradespeople. There’s a lot of out of the box thinking, and while we aren’t major DIYers, we do take on smaller DIY projects when we need to create something with a look you can’t find on a store shelf.
At The Jeweled Nest, we don’t only work on home projects – we also bring that same idea of combining personal interests with beautiful style to events, while partnering with local companies and small businesses. It started with stationery and decorations for our wedding, where we wanted references to video games and science fiction that blended with gemstones and florals. Since then we’ve also done backdrops and centerpieces for a family baby shower, plus all those little details that make the event feel special. It’s an incredible feeling to bring your ideas for party decorations to life and have them delight everyone at a celebration.

Who We Are
My husband’s background is in art and mine is in engineering, although when it comes to our projects I think he’s the more analytical one while I have a picture in my head of how the design will turn out. We’ve been in our new home for about a year and have also done a ton of renovations on our last home, the first house we owned together.
Our cat Moxxi is who we call “The Supurrvisor”, because she always wants to investigate what we are working on and lend a helping paw. It’s equal odds whether she’ll knock a tape measure onto the ground instead, just to make sure gravity is still working.
